SAMPLE ITINERARY FOR YOUR TRIP TO GUATEMALA 🇬🇹

Here is a sample itinerary of a trip you could make while you visit this amazing country:

1. Take a Shuttle to Antigua for our wedding and spend at least three nights (there are many activities and experiences to do in Antigua Guatemala).

2. After our wedding you could head to Lake Atitlán and stay there for at least two nights.

3. Take a shuttle back to Guatemala City, take a plane to Tikal, and spend at least two nights there to see the Mayan Ruins.

4. Fly back to Guatemala City and head back home.

If you're not interested in visiting the ruins in Tikal and would rather hit the volcanic sand beaches and go surfing (weather permitting), we recommend spending a minimum of two nights in El Paredón, located in Escuintla, Guatemala. You can contact Rossy directly, and she'll be able to assist you in arranging shuttle transportation and recommending hotels. If you're traveling with kids, Jon and I suggest staying at the Gecko Hotel, as it's peaceful and away from the nightlife.
