In October 2014, we met on Hinge, the dating app, but quickly realized we had many acquaintances in common and were going to attend the same studio opening party in West Town Chicago on October 30th, 2014. Wendy was captured by Jon's piercing blue eyes and confident yet unassuming demeanor, and Wendy's personality and style captured Jon.

Over the past nine years and counting, we've embarked on an incredible journey of personal growth and shared experiences. Together, we've weathered numerous challenges, always finding our way back to each other amidst life's ups and downs.

The pandemic brought unexpected changes, but amidst it all, we found solace in each other's company. In 2021, we took a significant step forward by purchasing our own place, transforming it into a warm haven we both cherish. That same year, our family expanded with the adoption of our little dog Bowie, a delightful addition who brings us boundless joy.

Reflecting on how far we've come fills us with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. We stand united, eagerly anticipating the next chapter of our journey, overflowing with happiness and readiness for our wedding day.
