FAQ

HEY! IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW:

1) Passport: must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry to Guatemala.

2) Vaccinations: Visit your doctor at least a month before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need.

3) RSVP before August 2nd - You can also RSVP on our website.

4) Wedding Attire: Cocktail (see more info below)

5) Before you enter or exit Guatemala, you must complete the online immigration declaration form. Print the confirmation email you receive and carry it with you. Alternatively, take a screenshot of the email QR code. If you need more information, contact Wendy or Jon.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Children are welcome, but if you can, we encourage you to refrain from bringing your children to the reception to allow our wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

October is a good month to visit Guatemala, however some rain could be expected.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Cocktail attire is requested for the wedding.

A tip for the ladies: please do not wear stilettos. Antigua has cobblestone streets, so it's best to wear chunky heels or nice flats for the wedding. We don't want you to get hurt!

IS IT OKAY TO TAKE PICTURES WITH OUR PHONES AND CAMERAS DURING THE WEDDING?

During the ceremony, we invite you to be truly present during this special moment. Please turn off your cell phones and put down your cameras. Allow the professional photographers to capture how this moment looks. We encourage you all to capture how it feels in your heart without the distraction of technology.

WILL I HAVE PHONE & INTERNET RECEPTION IN GUATEMALA?

Before your trip, make sure to check your mobile service plan to see if it includes international roaming. If you have a T-mobile Magenta plan, it covers unlimited texts and data, with an average rate of $0.25 per minute for calls. Additionally, many service providers offer a fee for international 1- or 10-day passes.
